About Me
Hi！I am Wanyang Chen! I am currently a student of Ringling College of Art and Design, Majoring in Visual Study.
I am a storyboard artist aiming to create unique and innovative story, pursuing originality and distinctive style. I have a particular fondness for fairy tale themes。
I am also skilled in 3d animating, layout and illustration. I am proficient in software: Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Nuke X, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Substance Painter, Unreal 5 Engine.
Storyboard
Passion helps me keep revising my work again and again until I am sure it is attractive enough. I pay attention to story and the appearance of the characters most. I believe a good story is the premise of a successful animation. And, the characters are the carrier of the story. Play and animation is the strong support to really bring the story to the audience.
3d Layout
I once interned at the Chinese martial arts game "Justice" where I was responsible for the layout of character victory animations. I excel in using camera angles to convey dynamism and highlighting the highlights of character costumes and actions throughout the process to achieve the desired presentation.
