Visual development is a crucial early stage in both storyboarding and animation. A skilled storyboard artist must also excel at quickly designing props during the storyboard creation process, providing reference for downstream stages. Therefore, I have a strong interest in visual development, and here are some of my works.
A sniper gril, Alice, is hunting a robot rabbit in the debris after the apocalypse.
I picked there interesting characters of Qing Dynasty to create a comic effect.
A foreign officer is trying Chinese tabacoo and blows a swirl of smoke rings.
A royal concubine is watching herself in the mirror and adjust her headwear.
A empire solider is riding on the horse and carring a dragon flag. The horse is designed with an interesting look.

This is a character I designed for the “lipsync”.
The cool girl wearing a short hair and stylish outfit, holding a gun.
The dog is the character I designed for the story “finding head”. In the story, a dog and a mannequin who lost his head experience a journey in the junkyard to find his head back.
The Fariy and Sprite are characters I designed for the story “Karma is Real”. The sprite does many things wrong and damages the fariy’s garden. Finally, the spirte gets the punishment he deserves.
The ghost is the character I designed for the story “Settle down”. In the story, ghost is a poor guy who has no permenant place to live and has to move form place to place. Finally, he settles on in a haunted house happily.
The task is creating any interesting scene in the junkyard. For me, I depicts three scenes:
An old dog sneaks into a junkyard and gets into an rusted car which used to belong to his owner. The dog is sad, when finding the photo of both of them.
A monster is making a heart-shaped gift from a tyre of the abandoned car.
The robot settles down in the junkyard and watering the trees which grow out of the car.
I pop up ideas that what the monsters will do in the restaurant, they can be clients, chef or a waiter. These are wonderful moments.
Jade Rabbit is a character I designed for the story “ Lunar blossoming”. In the story, jade rabbit and moon rover build a friendship after misunderstanding and disputs. The seeds rover gives to rabbit grow there and make the moon glowing.
The transparent greenhouse is where the rabbit plants and grows new or rare flowers. There are two holes on the ceiling for a tree to grow out of them, the branches are of the shape of rabbit’s two long ears. Inside the house, a well is desinged for the rabbit to water the flowers.
