good animator should be a good actor at first who can put himself in the character’s shoes and feel the same. Only in this way, he can design proper poses and facial expressions. Technical skill based on professional softwares is another cornerstone. Fluent pose-to-pose animating contributes to an outstanding animation.
I am on the way of tempering myself on both sides.
It’s the latest one I made.
The little witch hopes to go out for a ride but the broom only wants to sweep the floor.
Here I designed some complex poses, such as pull and push, ride on and throw away. The combination of different poses is a challenge to me. To perfectly present the story, I introduce the facial expressions properly to match the poses.
I am trying to make the ending unexpected and full of fun.
It’s the one I made in the second year.
A Chinese Zombie is frighten by a lattern blown down by the wind. It’s the first time I animated a creature.
The poses of the Zombie are designed to be adorkable.
The first animation I made in the first year. The task is to do a “Ball Bounce“. Even it’s a very small task, I still want to show some peculiarity and link the “ball“ to “berry“ and “dewdrop“ with imagination.
Anyway, I hope it’s an interesting tiny story, not only a ball movement.
