Modelling and Texturing is a part of my pleasure. It’s really a mgaic that the wonderland can come from my hand with Maya and Zbrush. I can recreat the real world, making things vivid. I can also create a virtual world where I can let the imagination fly.
Bright and strong color are my favourite.
You can see lots of colors of different tunes on my model. I enjoy designing complex patterns too.
A little witch wearing a large green magic hat, is the character I designed for the 20s anmiantion “When your magic broom only wants to sweep the floor”.
Lovey little witch is designed to be with a large head-to-body ratio, round baby face with some freckles scattered across it. The ears are a little bit big, which gives a sense of elf.
This is a scene of the animation: the little witch waves to the broom, asking it to go out for a ride.
This is a scene of the animation: the little witch rides on the broom and is unware of the broom’s plot to throw her away.

Some details of the modelling and texturing: shoes and socks, dustpan.
The interior of the little witch’s room.
This is a colorful villa I desgined when I were a freshman. The three-story building with fusion style, is pained in warm orange, yellow and light green. Porch on the first floor with Italian arches and columns provides a great place to relax. The floor is decorated with applealing diamond patterns.
The second and third floor are designed with cute small rooms and tiny round balconies sticking out, creating a joyful and and brisk holiday atmosphere.
The big terrace is furnitured with a red-white stripe beach umbrella and lovely egg-shaped chairs.
The house on the top floor is designed with tilting walls and sloping roof coved with red tiles. When I textured the house, I paid much attention to recreate the concrete with coarse surface and some stains on the walls to reflect architecure in the real world.
The texture of a building is a combination of many different materials, in the picture, you can see steel, marbel, cotton, wood and concrete.
The square balcony on the second floor is furnitured with fabric sofa and wooden floor suitable for a bare-foot recreation.
The facade is decorated with columns and the wall lamps are lighted. Wear and tear for the wall and the column. Small pot of flower on the windowsill.
This is the scene I desinged for a Chinese zombie who is scared by a lattern blown by the wind.
The Chinese zombie is modelled as a Qing Dynasty character wearing an official hat with beads and robe with embroidered traditional Chinese clound patterns.
The room is designed to be gloomy and ghastly to match the story. The furnitures and decoration are also typical Chinese style, such as the lattice windows, Scroll paintings, big liquor jars with Chinese character “liquor” and Bluestone square bricks.
Red lattern is blown to drop on the ground. The zombie is terrified and ready to run away.
